Hey, I’m Atoosa.

I have been playing music for 25 years and teaching music for 16 years.

More about me?

International instruments

After a few years, my interest expanded beyond Iranian classical music. So, along with my first instruments, I started playing international ones. Cajon, Djembe, Darbuka, drums and piano. That is, Iranian, Middle Eastern, Western classical music, Jazz, and Rock all became a part of my musical existence.

Electronic Music

I also became interested in electronic music. I’ve had many concerts in Iran and other countries, including mainstream music and underground (alternative) music.

Music in my life

If I say music is my last resort in the vicissitudes of life, I do not exaggerate it. Listening to music and playing musical instruments is a life-changer. So, if you think you want to start having fun, excitement, and joyful emotions with the infinite world of sounds, especially rhythms, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Movie

I'm not sure if I'm a movie buff, but watching movies is one of my old interests. I cannot say that watching movies is just a simple hobby for me since I take it seriously. Generally, art is a serious thing for me. We can talk much more about movies and our favorite directors when we become familiar with each other. I'm sure I can learn a lot from you.

A little Extra about me:

Philosophy
As I progress through my PhD in Philosophy at the University of North Texas, complemented by a Master’s in Philosophy of Art, I am guided by the belief that art and philosophy are deeply intertwined. This ideology shapes my academic path, anticipating a future where I can more fully explore and integrate these disciplines, enriching both my professional and creative pursuits.
